Our goal is to support you and grow the game. We want to represent you, but we understand that what's best for 1A is not always the same for 6A. Therefore we have a representative from each classification, so that when we meet we can discuss these things. The association is your voice for change. The UHSAA expects you to come to the association if you have suggestions or want things changed.

Coach Kenzie Newton started her coaching career in 2005. She has been the Girls Head Basketball Coach for Grantsville, Stansbury and Mountain Ridge, presently. She has been a Board Member for the UGBCA for 10 years and has a passion for advocating for Women's Basketball. She recently finished her Master's Degree at SUU. Kenzie and her husband, Jeff, have two children. In her free time she enjoys fly fishing and being her children's #1 fan.
Coach Whitney Hunsaker has been the head coach at Olympus High for 8 seasons and on the UGBCA board for 2. She grew up in the Salt Lake Valley, attended Skyline High, and continued her playing career at Utah Valley University. Whitney and her husband Ellis have 1 child who is all in to basketball and one of the few words he knows.
Coach Ace Jenks has been the girls basketball coach at Ridgeline High School since it opened in 2016. She grew up in Idaho and moved to Cache Valley to attend Utah State. During college, Ace had the opportunity to assist with Pat Summit's Basketball Camps, which is an experience she will never forget. Ace and her husband, Jared have 3 kids who also spend most of their time in a gym. Ace has been a member of the UGBCA for 7 years and is a passionate advocate for women's sports.
